As a Cultural Care local childcare consultant (LCC), I invite our host families and au pairs as well as those considering Cultural Care Au Pair to explore my site and learn about what is going on in our community. I provide year-round support to host families and au pairs, and also talk to families considering the program to help them determine if Cultural Care Au Pair is the right childcare solution for them.
I have worked in childcare for the last 23 years as a family child care provider in the community. I understand the importance of quality care. I also understand how hard it is to find quality care. When I work with families and au pairs, I am amazed by the number of repeat families. They have found success with au pair care. I love how the au pairs also come back to visit their host families and stay in touch. Au pair care goes well beyond just having child care. It is a cultural experience that will last a lifetime.
Choosing an au pair…..
Choosing an au pair can be a challenge for many families. I love helping families find a good choice. I take the time to get to know my clients so I can help them figure out where to start their search for an au pair. Every family has their individual needs. My experience with families and children allows me first hand knowledge as to what I believe will be a good match. Once we map out a plan, I will help you look through the hundreds of au pairs available to you from around the world. Most times I will narrow it down to five au pairs and then we take it from there.
It takes a long time to get an au pair from another country…
Not necessarily. Au pairs sometimes choose to extend their contract with Cultural Care and want to move to another part of the country or sometimes au pairs are in rematch . Rematch can be for many reasons. But this means there are au pairs available in the United States. I have personally placed an au pair in a week who was living in Seattle.
